F.M. Kirby Foundation, Inc. Grants Little Falls Hospital $25,000
Little Falls Hospital received a grant from the F.M. Kirby Foundation Inc. The F.M. Kirby Foundation Inc. approved a grant of $25,000 to assist in the purchase of a Patient Archiving and Communication System (PACS). PACS refers to a computer system that is used to capture, store, distribute, and then display radiology images.
Jonathan I. Lawrence, President & CEO stated, “The acquisition of a PACS allows medical images and reports be transmitted and viewed digitally, as opposed to the current manual method of storing and sending films and reports. Little Falls Hospital is most grateful to the F.M. Kirby Foundation, Inc. for their ongoing support of the hospital’s continuous efforts to offer advanced health care technology to the community we serve.”
