Little Falls Hospital Begins Construction Project

To better meet community need, Little Falls Hospital is commencing the first phase of its $3+ million construction project, beginning with the main entrance renovations.  The renovated main entrance will include courtesy curbside drop-off, a wheelchair accessible entrance ramp, a protective awning wheelchair lift, and electric doors. 

Construction is expected to begin on or about Monday, November 26.   The main entrance will be closed throughout the construction which is expected to be completed in February.  Patients and visitors are asked to use the wheelchair accessible entrance at the corner of Burwell St and Whited St. or the emergency department entrance.  On-street parking will not be available during construction.

Additional elements of the construction plan include the renovation and expansion of the emergency department, and various renovations to the inpatient unit, special care unit, operating room support areas and many aesthetic improvements throughout the facility.
