Hempstead Presents: The Heart Truth for Women

LITTLE FALLS—Lori Hempstead, Chief Nursing Operator (CNO) and VP of Patient Care at Little Falls Hospital, spoke at a Lunch & Learn Series: “The Heart Truth for Women”
During Hempstead’s lecture, she explained that women are at risk for heart disease and heart attacks, just like men.  In fact, heart disease is the leading cause of death among women.  Hempstead went on to explain risk factors, the truth about Estrogen, cholesterol, and blood pressure.
Little Falls Hospital will be holding Lunch & Learn Series each month to address community health needs and share improvements regarding expanded access and increased availability of services.
